According to Yurchishin, the fight against corruption or the investigation of socially significant crimes in Ukraine are held on the principle of "caught, shown, released."

“But the worst part in this situation is that often politicians abuse it for the purpose of public relations - there was no other purpose for the president to be present at this press conference (about the investigation into the murder of Sheremet. - RT ),” he said.

He also believes that the murder of Sheremet will not be fully investigated, as well as the murder of journalist George Gongadze in Ukraine in 2000.

According to him, "the case will be talked to such a level that no judge, no law enforcement officer will not dare to really put an end to and tell the truth."

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov spoke about the loss of video from four cameras in the case of the murder of Sheremet.

On December 12, the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Yevgeny Koval, stated that the investigation established five suspects in the murder of Pavel Sheremet.

Sheremet died on July 20, 2016 during a car explosion in the center of Kiev.
