If they came today, it was at the call of the young leader of the opposition, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, who had a meteoric rise in the last elections and found himself since the target of incessant attacks from on the part of the judicial authorities with multiple procedures against it.

Latest, an imminent threat of dissolution of his party, which would put the 81 deputies present today in parliament out of the political game and banish party officials from any political activity for 10 years, on the grounds that Thanathorn, from a large industrial family, made a loan to their party for the electoral campaign last March.

Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit had already been banished from Parliament, this time, it is too much, he calls for mobilization: " They want to destroy us, to silence us permanently. These are the methods of intimidating the dictatorship of the generals. Today we came to say stop. "

Dispersed calmly by the hundred or so police officers present, the demonstration was intended above all to be a show of force for the continuation of the events. The Constitutional Court is to rule on the dissolution of the party in the coming days.
