December 14, 2019A chance to learn more about the themes of reception and social inclusion of unaccompanied foreign minors, through thematic round tables with children's testimonies, workshops for all ages and film screenings in the dedicated spaces.

At the opening, a short MeMoria video on the reception on the island of Lesbos , projected in the Cinema Room, which will also host two films on the lives, choices and experiences of young people: at 4 pm, the documentary I am here , which is part of a project conducted by UNICEF in collaboration with director Gabriele Gravagna, the Asante Onlus Association and the Municipality of Palermo, which describes the operation of a reception center for unaccompanied foreign minors and the difficult path to inclusion social and at 5 pm, the documentary film Beautiful People by Gino Clemente, which meets again after six years the protagonists of La mia classe , an opportunity for discussion with peers, dealing with everyday life, work dynamics, love and dream of a better future.

In the program, simultaneously with the films, two round tables will also be held in the participatory room, moderated by Eleonora Camilli of Redattore Sociale: the first - at 16.00 - on reception themes and the second - at 18.00 - on the theme of 'job inclusion, during which organizations will present their witnesses and propose possible workable solutions.

Between the two in-depth moments, there will be performances by the Latinoamericano Renacer group and La Pizzica de Tarantafro. There will also be activities dedicated to children and young people, even those of new age: from 4 to 6 pm there will be readings and workshops on migration and children's rights and the topic of microcredit for the development of youth entrepreneurship will also be explored.

From 18.30 onwards, it will be possible to enter the food area organized by the multi-ethnic catering Gustamundo.

In the evening the dance, on the Mediterranean rhythms of Sandro Joyeux and Alessandro Nosenzo, two artists sensitive to the theme of hospitality who will perform an acoustic live starting at 20.
