In Russia, a quarter of schools banned the use of phones in the classroom


Russian Education Minister Olga Vasilyeva said that more than 10.6 thousand - almost a quarter - of Russian schools have limited the use of telephones during class. It is reported by "Rossiyskaya Gazeta"

“We already have specific numbers: 10 thousand 628 schools - that is, approximately one in four - have implemented the recommendations and limited the phones during the lessons,” she said.

The minister also added that in Belgorod Oblast, North Ossetia and Ingushetia, 100% of schools limited the use of telephones during classes.

According to Vasilyeva, three quarters of the respondents consider it necessary that teachers also do not use phones during the learning process.
