Berlin (AP) - At least 23 Afghan soldiers have been killed in an attack in the province of Ghasni in the southeast of the country. That explained local authorities. Another soldier was injured in the attack in a military base, and he said he was dead. The militant Islamist Taliban claimed the attack and claimed to have killed 32 soldiers. There was initially no confirmation for this number. The Taliban had apparently infiltrated the force. Similar attacks by alleged comrades have occurred in the province in the past.
