Apple's US-China trade agreement eliminated the additional $ 150 per iPhone.

Apple's lobbying against the US government, in particular, to avoid additional tariff burdens, is also said to have affected the US-China trade agreement.

Bloomberg News reported that withholding 15 percent tariffs on Chinese exports scheduled for the United States, Apple has avoided tariffs on iPhones, iPads and MacBooks produced in China.

Apple already pays tariffs on products like Apple Watch, AirPod headphones, iMac desktop computers, and HomePod speakers, some of which may be withdrawn.

The US-China trade agreement has also been reported to include China's purchases of US produce and reduced tariffs.

Apple avoided the additional tariffs on the 15th, but its parts supply and manufacturing partners are based in China, which is vulnerable when the US-China conflict spreads.

Apple is no longer able to quickly move its production base to another country, and since the US-China trade conflict, it has been proactively lobbying the US government to ensure that Tim Cook is not charged tariffs on its products.

Cook met with President Trump often this year, and he was criticized for doing so.

Trump also said that tariffs are imposed on iPhones made in China, which is unfair to rival Samsung's cell phones.

Dan Ives, an analyst at Wed Bush Securities, said, "Cook played an important role in US-China trade talks."
