Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, 67, who sparked the world's Mitu movement, has tentatively agreed with the victims for 30 billion won.

Weinstein and his bankruptcy filmmaker, the Winestein Company Board, have tentatively agreed to pay a total of $ 47 million to resolve almost all civil proceedings against Weinstein and the company. The New York Times reported.

Of these, $ 25 million will be paid to dozens of sex offenders.

This fee will be paid by the insurance company of Winesteen Company.

The agreement means Winesteen doesn't have to admit his faults and doesn't have to spend money, the New York Times said.

However, this agreement must be approved by the bankruptcy court.

Earlier in October 2017, the New York Times and New Yorker exposed Winestein's ugly sexual scandal.

Over the past three decades, it has shocked the world to know that there are more than 100 victims of sex crimes, including famous actresses such as Uma Thurman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Leah Seydou, and Ashley Judd.

Weinstein, however, denied allegations of sex crimes, saying that all of the relations were by agreement.

Apart from this agreement, Winestein will have a criminal trial in New York State next January.

He was charged with sexually assaulting two women in 2006 and 2013, respectively.

The trial begins on 6 January and can be sentenced to life in prison if found guilty.

The lawyers of the two complainants made a joint statement and criticized that much of the settlement would be for lawyers and little compensation for the victims.

In fact, about $ 12 million of the $ 47 million is reported to be paid by lawyers who defended Weinstein.

The lawyers also say the agreement may waive the liability of Winestein Company and the insurer for other victims who choose not to comply.

"We will actively oppose the agreement to affect other victims who are trying to blame Weinstein," they said.

Weinstein, meanwhile, attended court jewelery in a walker and will undergo spinal surgery on Thursday.
