The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov announced the detention of suspects in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet.
Sheremet died on July 20, 2016 during a car explosion in the center of Kiev. In July 2019, the Prosecutor General's Office stated that hundreds of people were questioned in the case and tens of thousands were checked. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said the investigation will have a result.
