Nearly 90,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from fossil fuels, as much as the Kristinehedsverket released in 2018, according to figures which they themselves have reported to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's database "Emissions in figures" and compiled by the Siren News Agency.

In second place comes Stora Enso Paper AB, which last year emitted nearly 12,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide from fossil fuels.
