The wife of Judge Jean-Michel Lambert, first magistrate to have investigated the Grégory affair in 1984 and who committed suicide in 2017, denounced Thursday a series on Netflix devoted to the news, accusing him of stoking "a dangerous hatred ".

In a statement, Nicole Lambert and the couple's daughter, Pauline Lambert, believe that the five-episode series entitled "Grégory", broadcast since November by the American giant Netflix, gives "a partial vision" of the case.

"Once again, everyone comments and repeats the words written by others, without checking their sources," they regret.

Nicole and Pauline Lambert criticize the comments made by the journalist of Paris-Match Jean Ker. "What do you think of a Paris-Match journalist, who claims to have warned our husband and father, of assassination attempts against Bernard Laroche, when the court record shows that he did not do anything about it? a journalist who smiles and laughs as he remembers this sad case? ", they write.

Relaunched in mid-2017, the Gregory case took a dramatic turn with the death of Jean-Michel Lambert, 65, found inanimate in July 2017 at Le Mans. The former judge had sent a letter to the East Republican shortly before explaining his will to kill himself, having "no longer the strength to (beat)".

Nicknamed "the little judge", Jean-Michel Lambert was 32 years old when the body of Grégory Villemin, 4 years old, was found, on October 16, 1984, hand and foot bound in the Vologne. The only judge in Epinal (Vosges), the one who was in his first job had revealed to the press the content of the charges of Murielle Bolle, 15, who had denounced her brother-in-law, Bernard Laroche, as being the kidnapper Gregory.

The teenager then retracted, assuring that she made the remarks under duress of the gendarmes. She has since ceased to claim the innocence of Bernard Laroche, shot by the father of "little Grégory", Jean-Marie Villemin, in 1985.

The Paris Court of Appeal must examine on December 18 the validity of the custody of Murielle Bolle in 1984, likely to be canceled, with significant consequences for the entire investigation.
