The commission began to verify the supporting documents submitted by the regional government, the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Health and other departments, the report said.
Based on the results, it is planned to prepare a report and submit it to the cabinet.
Earlier, the Governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Levchenko resigned of his own free will. Igor Kobzev, who previously held the post of deputy head of the Ministry of Emergencies, was appointed interim head of the region.
