"We're getting very close to the big deal with China. They want it, and we want it."

President Trump tweeted about optimism about the first-tier US-China trade negotiations.

Bloomberg reported that the United States and China have reached a principle agreement.

The first phase of the trade agreement remains with President Trump's signature, saying the White House will soon have an official position.

US Representative Trade Representative Wright Haizer has also reported to some senators that an official announcement is imminent.

The Wall Street Journal says the US negotiating team has proposed a withdrawal of additional tariffs on Chinese imports scheduled for the 15th.

He also proposed a way to reduce existing tariffs by half, which is equivalent to $ 36 billion in Chinese imports.

The United States has been demanding tariff easing, expanding agricultural purchases and strengthening protection of intellectual property rights, while China has demanded the elimination of all tariffs.

Both the US and major European markets rose on news that the two countries were nearing a deal.
