It was just before seven o'clock on Thursday evening that it re-opened at Kronogården in Trollhättan.

"Bengals have been thrown and are firing rockets around the square there," says Göran Carlbom, press spokesman in the West region.

No injuries

According to the police, the rockets and Bengals have not been aimed at any person, and no person should have been injured.

But it is not the first time in recent times that there have been unrest at Kronogården in Trollhättan. Even on Sunday, youngsters threw Bengal, fired rockets and set two cars on fire.

And on Monday, young people threw stones at police and fired firefighters. The police have therefore had an intervention in the area with an increased presence.

- Right now it has calmed down. But it was troubling when it was at its worst, with more than 20 young people. It sounds loud, says Göran Carlbom at 19.30.

Remain

No person is currently suspected of a crime.

Police say they will remain there for as long as needed.
