For the moment there are no major problems, but according to forecasts by meteorologists, in the next few hours and close to the weekend, the "Santa Lucia storm" is expected, a sort of cyclone that will cross Italy from north to south. So much so that the Department of Civil Protection has issued a new weather alert that foresees starting from the late morning of tomorrow stormy winds up to storms on eastern Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, especially in the coastal and southern sectors, involving Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia and Puglia.

In Rome, schools, parks, cemeteries and historic villas closed tomorrow

The ground impact scenarios include: damage to roofs and temporary structures due to gusts of wind, lightning strikes, possible hailstorms and falling branches or trees. Possible flooding of underground rooms and those on the ground floor. Surface flow of water in roadways and possible regurgitation phenomena of rainwater disposal systems with overflow and involvement of depressed urban areas. Possible occasional superficial landslides related to particularly fragile hydrogeological conditions, in basins of limited dimensions.

In Milan expected snow in the night
A weather alert for snow risk in Milan was issued by the Lombardy Region. For this reason the Municipality has activated the Municipal Operations Center (COC) at the Civil Protection operations center starting from midnight today. The Municipality of Milan invites citizens to choose public transport for tomorrow's journeys. Condominium administrators and shops facing the road in case of snow and frost are asked to spread salt on the sidewalks. The rains, explains a note, will be more abundant and probable near Apuane, Apennines and reliefs near the coast. From the evening of today and for the whole night ice formations are possible in inland areas and in particular in the areas affected by snowfall. Today the weather is attenuating, today's disturbance is passing over the region and that in the next few hours it will cause some rain in the inland areas of the provinces of Florence and Arezzo, snow on the hilly areas with possible formation of ice and very rough seas.

Forecasts
Attention now shifts to forecasts: "We will have new precipitations in the North, snowy hills if not yet in the plain between Piedmont, Lombardy, western Emilia, sometimes mixed with rain also on the rest of Emilia, Veneto and upper Friuli". In the Center-South it will not go better. In fact, rains and storms will arrive, "in particular on the Tyrrhenian slopes, where it will be possible to have phenomena of sometimes strong intensity with the risk of intense storms or storms from Tuscany to Lazio, including the capital where an alert was spread, and subsequently also Campania and Calabria ". Attention also to the wind "which will also blow very strongly at first Libeccio and Ponente, then Maestrale, with gusts of over 120 kilometers per hour between the Tyrrhenian and the Major Islands". Finally, an improvement awaits us over the weekend, but the truce could not last long with a new disturbance approaching the North.
