The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, reassured the Egyptian woman about the Personal Status Law that Parliament is discussing, as he stressed that "I will not sign a law that does not do justice to you, and I know that Parliament and its representatives are keen on a balanced and moderate discussion of this law."

Al-Sisi, during his speech at the Aswan Forum for Peace and Sustainable Development, at the session "Enhancing the Role of African Women to Achieve Peace, Security and Development" yesterday, stated that women are concerned that the law will not achieve balance, equity and security for them.

The crisis of amendments to the Personal Status Law escalated, especially after the National Council for Women announced its fear of the articles relating to expenditures, whether the kit or the child, and matters pertaining to women's rights in the law, as well as human rights discomfort with the law prepared by Al-Azhar considering it a religious guardianship, while a number confirmed Of the deputies that they are keen on a balanced law that takes into account the interests of all members of the family, and it will not come to light except with a societal consensus on all its articles.

The National Council for Women in Egypt, headed by Maya Morsi, announced his fear of the articles of expenditures in the Personal Status Law, whether child support or child maintenance and other matters related to women's rights in the law.
