The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the crash of a Mi-28 attack helicopter in the Krasnodar Territory and the deaths of two people who were in a carriage. According to the agency, the accident occurred around 23:00 Moscow time in the vicinity of the Korenovsk airfield. The flight was carried out without ammunition, there is no destruction on the ground.
As RIA Novosti clarifies with reference to the ministry, the helicopter performed a scheduled training flight in the dark in difficult weather conditions.
A commission was sent to the scene of the accident, which will investigate the causes of the crash.
