The issue turned out to be very relevant for the residents of the region - 12,115 people took part in it. 11 433 people answered “yes” - this is 94% of those who voted, almost unanimously. “Against” 682 people spoke out or 6%, respectively. Together with you, we have made a decision, and in the coming days I will sign the order “On the postponement of the weekend in 2019”. For December 31, you have to work on Saturday December 28. According to Kuyvashev, in the coming days he will sign the corresponding order, for December 31, citizens will need to work out on Saturday, December 28.

It was reported that the authorities of Karachay-Cherkessia, Crimea, Pskov Region and Stavropol Territory announced a decision to make December 31, 2019 a day off.
State Duma deputy Sergei Boyarsky, in an interview with the PolitExpert publication, appreciated the introduction of a draft law in the State Duma, which would make December 31 a day off.
