The Swedish Employment Service and the Government Service Center have started a collaboration so that job seekers can turn to the service offices and get help with the Employment Service's digital services.

Part of pilot project

Växjö is one of six locations in the country that is participating in a pilot project of three months, then the idea is that the service will be introduced at all service offices in the country during 2020. In Växjö, the pilot project starts on January 15, 2020.

- The same type of customer service that you previously received from the Employment Service will instead be obtained from us. We help with easier support, guidance and guidance. The booked visits and the actual mediation itself still remain with the Employment Service, says Charlotte Håkansson, office area manager for Växjö, Ljungby and Älmhult.

13 offices in Småland

The state service center has 113 service offices in the country and 13 of them are located in Småland. At the offices today, you can get help with matters to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Pensions Agency and the Swedish Tax Agency.
