“A worthy person passed away. Yuri Mikhailovich did a lot - for people, for Moscow, for the Russian Academy of Arts. An energetic, talented person, he loved life, always strove to be useful, ”he said.

According to him, Luzhkov always supported artists, generally appreciated the people of art.

In turn, the People's Artist of Russia, the artistic director of the Satyricon Theater Konstantin Raikin, in an interview with the Zvezda television channel, noted that Luzhkov had great energy and held his own views.

“I know how he related to theatrical business. Although I was not in his charge, unfortunately, because I (lead) a federal institution, not a Moscow one. But I know how theaters lived well with him, ”he said.

Earlier it was reported that Luzhkov was buried in the Novodevichy cemetery.
