Tanker on fire after collision with trucks, one dead on the A4

A man died charred in an accident that occurred on the A4, around midnight, between the junctions of Padova est and Padova Ovest. This is a clash between a tanker carrying diesel fuel and a truck. From the first reconstructions of the fire brigade, the tanker caught fire after buffering a work-signaling trolley and then a truck of a motorway maintenance company with 7 workers, on site to carry out some work. In the accident the driver of the tanker died while a worker was injured in the shoulder and was rescued by 118. During the rescue operations a firefighter was slightly injured. The other six workers remained unharmed. The fire brigades of Vicenza and Venice, the traffic police of Padua, the Suem and the ARPAV (Regional Agency for Environmental Protection) intervened due to the pouring of diesel fuel on the street.
