The popularity of Korean medical institutions in Russia is increasing day by day.

Vladivostok media, Vlad News, recently conveyed this atmosphere through an article entitled "In Vitro Fertilization in Korea."

Vladnews says about 800 couples of infertility women in Russia are looking for a medical facility in South Korea to undergo an in vitro fertilization procedure.

According to the report, the average age of patients visiting Korea for in vitro fertilization is 30 years.

The average length of time patients stay in Korea for the procedure is known as three weeks. The procedure costs about $ 6,000.

South Korea's high-quality in vitro fertilization technology, which has excellent medical staff and technology, is attracting Russian infertile couples, Vlad News said.

Vlad News added that the success rate of the procedure is higher than that of Russia, but Korea's in vitro fertilization procedure is not universal.

Medical tourism expert Marina told Vladnews that "not all families get good results first," and "some families have succeeded after many attempts."

According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, foreign patients from 190 countries visited Korea last year.

By country of patient, Russia (27,185) is the fourth after China, the United States, and Japan.

The number of Russian patients who visited Korea last year was 9.4% higher than the previous year (24,859).
