At least six people have died today in a hospital in the Czech city of Ostrava when an unidentified person began firing in a waiting area, according to official sources.

The attack, whose causes are still unknown, occurred around 07.00 (06.00 GMT). All access to the hospital, located on the campus of the University of Ostrava, are closed.

Police reported on Twitter that he was looking for the suspect.
