December 10, 2019A child of a few years was severely burned after a fire, and a blast occurred late yesterday evening in the house where the family lives on the outskirts of Perugia. According to the first findings of the fire brigade the flames would have developed from a stove after probably using flammable liquid for ignition. The little girl was on the sofa with her grandmother, who was also severely burned.

At home, on the third floor of a building, also the father of the child and another son, unharmed. The fire brigade then intervened also with a ladder truck. The child - reports the hospital in Perugia - reported second and third degree burns. After being secured in the emergency room in Perugia, she was transferred to the Gemelli in Rome. The 54-year-old woman was hospitalized in intensive care at the Umbrian capital's hospital. Carabinieri are also on site for the checks.
