It was this spring that the Swedish Employment Service decided to close eight offices in Dalarna. How the government's message affects the closed and relocated local offices is unclear. But there is now a clear requirement that the local presence be strengthened.

According to the Employment Service, planning is currently underway to live up to that requirement, with its own offices, co-locations with municipalities and the state service offices.
