He noted that a “set of additional anti-corruption measures” will be developed during a coordination meeting of heads of Russian law enforcement agencies.

“They will also include the fight against kickbacks and the return of illegally withdrawn assets from abroad,” Chaika said in an interview with Kommersant.

Earlier, an official representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office Alexander Kurennoy said that over the past nine months, the value of property of officials turned into state revenue in accordance with court decisions has exceeded 12 billion rubles. He clarified that the property was seized in respect of which officials failed to provide information about its acquisition for legitimate income.

Kurennoy added that 876 officials were dismissed for committing corruption crimes.
