Russian Permanent Mission responds to UN resolution on Crimea

First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky commented on the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a Ukrainian resolution on the “militarization of Crimea”.

It is reported by TASS.

He suggested that the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN could specifically link the date of the vote to the Norman-style summit in Paris.

According to him, before the meeting of the "Norman Four", the Ukrainian side tried as much as possible to create a favorable background - in words and deeds.

“It was the constructive course of this meeting that the adoption of today's resolution was designed to prevent,” he said.

Earlier, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the "militarization" of Crimea.
