It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the interim head of the regional GUMChS Alexei Artyomov.

As he noted at a hardware meeting with the head of the republic, information about the incident in the Saryg-Sep village came from the duty officer of the Kaa-Khem Central Design Bureau.

“Four people entered the toxicology department with signs of carbon monoxide poisoning, including two children: born in 2009 and 2013,” he said.

Artyomov pointed out that the cause of the poisoning was a violation of the rules of operation of the furnace.

It is specified that at the moment the condition of the children is satisfactory.

Earlier in the Saratov region, five people, including four children, died, presumably as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.
