“During the investigation of the criminal case ... large-scale fraud ... the former deputy head of the Volga regional center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the State Fire Service was detained,” the press release said.
According to the investigation, the suspect fictitiously arranged for a firefighter in one of the parts of the Perm Ministry of Emergencies to be his acquaintance, who at the same time did not fulfill any official obligations.
Thus, from March 2013 to the end of 2017, more than 790 thousand rubles were accrued from the budget funds to the man, which accomplices used at their discretion.
In the near future, the detainee will be charged and a preventive measure will be chosen.
In late July, in Transbaikalia, the deputy head of the Federal Fire Service, who was suspected of major fraud as part of a criminal group by prior conspiracy using his official position, was detained.
