“In total, since April of this year, over 160 thousand applications have been received at document reception centers in the Rostov Region, and 125 thousand applications have already been taken for citizenship,” the ministry said.
Kolokoltsev also said that over the nine months of 2019, more than 92 thousand people were accepted as part of the State program for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad.
Earlier, the State Duma announced that the number of points of issue in the simplified order of Russian passports for residents of the DPR and LPR will increase in December in the Rostov Region to eight.
