The Governor of the Pskov region declared December 31 a day off

The Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov signed a decree on the postponement of public holidays from December 28 to December 31.



“To postpone the day off - Saturday, December 28, 2019, to Tuesday, December 31, 2019 for people who fill public positions in the Administration of the Pskov Region and other authorities of the Pskov Region, state civil servants,” the official attached a photograph of the decree on the Instagram network.

In addition, a day off was also set for other employees of state bodies of the Pskov region, as well as enterprises of institutions and organizations that are owned by the region.

Vedernikov recommended that other authorities and local authorities in the region declare December 31 a day off.

Earlier in the Crimea, they announced a decision to make December 31, 2019 a day off.

State Duma Vice-Speaker Igor Lebedev, in an interview with URA.RU, assessed the likelihood of a bill being passed in 2019, according to which December 31 could be a day off.
