Simona Quadarella won gold in the women's 400-meter freestyle final of the 20 th European short-tub swimming championships, which took place at the Tollcross International Swimming Center in Glasgow.

The Roman, cardinal Aniene and Fire Brigade, already winner of the 800 meters in Scotland, stopped the time at 3'59 "75. Second is the German Isabel Marie Gose, silver in 4'00" 01; third is the Hungarian Ajna Kesely, bronze in 4'00 "04.
