FC Nantes beat Dijon by the smallest possible margin (1-0) Sunday at La Beaujoire, and gained six places in the league standings: the Canaries are again sixth, two points off the podium.

It is thanks to a goal of all beauty of Ludovic Blas, the third this season for the former Guingampais, at the origin and the finish: left on the right side, Blas transplanted towards the axis, taken support on Moses Simon and landed a cross shot from the left out of reach of the gloves of Alex Runarsson (73rd).

This unique realization of a sad match like the rain came just after the exit (under the whistles) of the Malian striker Kalifa Coulibaly, again very clumsy, and the repositioning in the axis of the Nigerian Simon, more technical and more stirring.

The rest of the time, the troops of Christian Gourcuff seemed well borrowed and lacked aggressiveness, facing a private DFCO of eight players. A soft shot of Simon (16th), a cover of Coulibaly (28th) or a small dive not framed Simon (34th), it was little for the first period.

The Nantes have finally found the accelerator pedal after the break, with for example a ball put on his own post by Jhonder Cadiz, the Venezuelan Dijon (47th), a nice free kick by Imran Louza (51st) on which Runarsson went down perfectly, a head of Coulibaly (52) and a wrapped Kader Bamba (69).

For his good intentions, FC Nantes deserved to win. But the Canaries, who already have six wins 1-0 this season, were once again scared to the end, as on a uncrossed head Cadiz (88th) forcing Lafont to a superb parade.

Dijon fought well and was able to defend in a group manner.

He just missed a little daring and some additional holders at the DFCO to heal a statistic that is cold: Stéphane Jobard's players have won only two of their last 26 away games.

With one point ahead of the Metz jumper, the situation is not yet desperate but the danger is there.
