“On December 6, the prime ministers met and heard the energy ministers. They stated that they had found a solution on the road map for electricity. Most importantly, the premieres conducted an audit of what was done, what was not done, they did not set the task of finding an absolute solution to the remaining roadmaps. The presidents did it on December 7, ”Semashko said.

According to him, "it can be stated that the negotiations were substantive, in a constructive, friendly spirit."

He noted that “already at the meeting of the presidents they found a difficult denouement on the roadmap for cooperation between customs services.”

Semashko recalled that in the course of the previous round of negotiations at the level of prime ministers, projects on 21 out of 31 roadmaps were agreed on November 19, so, as the ambassador noted, 8 roadmaps remain uncoordinated.

On December 7, negotiations were held between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. They lasted more than 5.5 hours.

The Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin said that the negotiations were held in a number of areas: "In agriculture, in communications, in customs, and in regulating the oil market."

According to him, during the meeting, the parties made significant progress.
