Berlin (AFP) The SPD wants to further restrict arms exports. The party congress adopted on Sunday a paper from the party executive board, which regulates arms sales to third countries outside of the EU, NATO and equivalent countries stricter. As a rule, these states can only obtain German armaments if they have ratified the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) and "consistently" implement it. In the long term, they should no longer be able to obtain German weapons.
