4-axis digital transformation

The Executive Director of the Digital Security Sector at Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, Mohamed Ghayath, emphasized that the digital transformation in the country depends on two basic aspects, the first is the mechanisms of technological technological transformation, and the second is the rehabilitation of the human component of digital transformation.

Ghiath said - in a press statement on the sidelines of the summit's activities - that the summit's activities and lectures dealt with four main axes, the first specialized in digital transformation techniques, and the second reviewed the most important experiences of customers and users of digital transformation, and the third talked about digital data and ways of managing it, in the fourth axis concerned with information security It also focused on the role of the government in terms of security of service quality, and the security and security of the information infrastructure, as well as customer experiences.

He pointed out that the authority is working on implementing an ambitious program for the government of Abu Dhabi by converting government services, which exceeds 1,300 services, to digital services by the end of 2021, all of which are on one common interactive platform, the Tamm platform, pointing out that to achieve this program, the authority works In three phases, the first is to convert mass services into digital services, then unify the infrastructure for these services, and finally collect smart platforms for these services under one platform.

Ghiath mentioned that the Tamm platform for smart government services collects 180 services, explaining that the transformation is not suitable with all government services, because there are services that require the personal attendance of their applicants, and this is something that exists in all the leading countries in the field of digital transformation, for considerations related to technical matters and public policies Linked to the quality of service provided, and its suitability for digital transformation.

In response to a question for «Emirates Today» about the possibility of smart government transactions being subjected to individual electronic attacks, Ghayath said: «Of course some digital government transactions are subjected to electronic attacks, whether from other countries or individuals, which is something that the UAE and Abu Dhabi have not witnessed specifically, but there are Individual piracy attempts, seeking to penetrate services and institutions accounts on social media platforms or bank accounts, the number ranges between 84 and 90 attempts per month.

Ghiath added that there is a comprehensive program to update digital infrastructure and defense technologies for all government service platforms in Abu Dhabi, which will be launched by the end of 2021, but there are undoubtedly many obstacles facing the process of digital transformation of government services in any country in the world, these obstacles depend on the user and society The environment, systems and technologies used in transformation, and we in the state have the technological infrastructure to eliminate any obstacles to transformation from the government, so that it remains the second factor represented by the same customer, and that is why the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority modified some work mechanisms, as it became a focus Attention is currently focused on the customer and what he needs from the electronic services, instead of providing services that he does not need.
