“At WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan, at the venues of the UN General Assembly, when the International Labor Organization held events, it was repeatedly emphasized that today is a new paradigm of education. Not what it was before - today, many people are inclined to the fact that we need to learn all our lives. And the fact that the state stimulates is good, ”Nilov explained.

According to him, the very fact that these funds can be paid is a positive step.

“This, of course, is a little money, a very small scholarship ... But the very fact that older people are given the opportunity to study on a common basis, to receive a scholarship, to study for free is good. I regard this decision positively, but at the same time it is necessary to increase the scholarship, ”the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia has developed a project that provides for the payment of scholarships to people 50 years and older, if they plan to study to find work.
