Switzerland's Beat Feuz won the Beaver Creek (Colorado) downhill on Saturday, scoring the twelfth victory of his World Cup career ahead of Frenchman Johan Clarey and Austria's Vincent Kriechmayr, tied for second place.

Winner of the small crystal globes of descent in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019, silver medalist in super G and bronze downhill at the Olympics-2018, the skier of 32 years crushed the race, on this track where he s was already imposed last year.

In the overall World Cup standings, Austrian Matthias Mayer, disappointing 14th on Saturday, remains leader (230 pts), ahead of Kriechmayr (212) and Italy's Dominik Paris (206). Feuz jumped to 4th place (192).
