The new day of demonstrations against the pension reform, scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, force the prefecture of Paris to take preventive measures, prohibiting many businesses to open their doors that day.

The Paris police chief, Didier Lallement, took this Saturday two decrees concerning the new day of mobilization Tuesday, December 10 against the pension reform, one on the closing of the shops, the other on prohibitions of perimeters.

As Thursday, December 5, these prefectural orders and oblige shops and establishments located on the Parisian course - from place Vauban (7th) to the place Denfert-Rochereau (14th) - to close the time of the event.

The prefect also asks the owners or managers to take "means of protection of their institutions against damage and looting", close their terraces and remove all objects and furniture that could serve as projectiles. Parking is also prohibited on the route of the procession.

Areas of Paris prohibited from access

The prefect of police also took a decree prohibiting movement and demonstration for the perimeters around the Elysée and the Ministry of the Interior, in the sectors of the National Assembly, the Hotel Matignon and from the Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral.

During the first day of an interprofessional protest last Thursday, the mobilization was massive in the street with more than 800,000 protesters according to the Ministry of the Interior. In the capital, incidents broke out on the course.
