Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, quadruple world champions in ice dance, won the final of the prestigious Grand Prix on Saturday in Turin.

This is the second victory of the French in the competition, after 2017. They had missed the final in 2019 because of an injury of Guillaume Cizeron.

The duo had taken the lead after the short program Friday despite a mistake, Gabriella Papadakis having lost balance in the middle of the program.

With a total of 219.85 points, the French are ahead of the Americans Madison Chock and Evan Bates (210.68 pts) and Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue, holders of the trophy, 3rd with 207.93 points.
