The total cost of heating, electricity, water and wastewater and waste collection has increased by six per cent in Jönköping County since 2018. This can be compared with the national average, which is 4.8 per cent.

"This will of course be felt by the county's consumers," says Hans Dahlin, chairman of the Nils Holgerssonsgruppen.

In the municipality of Vaggeryd, prices have risen by ten per cent since 2018, and are thus the municipality in the county where prices have risen most.

Varnamo most expensive

The most expensive municipality in Jönköping County is otherwise Värnamo where you pay almost SEK 5,800 for water and sewerage while Gnosjö is the cheapest, where you pay just over SEK 3,300 per year.
