Germany: Bayern beaten at M'Gladbach, who remains the only leader

Mönchengladbach, surprise leader of the Bundesliga, knocked out Bayern Munich in extra time (2-1) on Saturday to remain sole leader of the German Football Championship after 14 days.

Hans-Dieter Flick's Bayern concede their second consecutive loss after falling at home last week against Leverkusen (2-1). M'Gladbach is leading with 31 points, one step ahead of Leipzig, Saturday's Hoffenheim winner (3-1), five on Dortmund, who have largely dominated Düsseldorf 5-0, and now seven on Munich, the champion In title.
