"The leaders of the Mejlis have repeatedly planned to go through a mass march across the border to the Crimea, but all these processions ended exactly in front of the neutral strip ... So I would not pay any special attention or make our border guards more alert," said Balbek .
He recalled that in 2014, the leaders of the Mejlis were banned from entering Russia.
“So the neutral strip is the limit of their dreams, they can’t even step on the Crimean soil with their toe,” the deputy said.
Earlier, Chubarov announced plans to organize a march to the Crimea.
According to him, the purpose of the event is to “help” international organizations in the implementation of their decisions in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
