“As with all other deputies: immunity will be lifted early next year,” he said, answering a question about the integrity of Poroshenko.

He also said that he was not ready to answer the clarifying question whether there would be a separate vote in the Verkhovna Rada regarding Poroshenko by the end of 2019.

“The petition for the removal of parliamentary immunity, detention, arrests is purely the prerogative of the prosecutor general. As of today, he hasn’t received such appeals from us, ”he said.

Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine sent to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General a draft request for the Verkhovna Rada to provide an agreement to prosecute Poroshenko.

In September, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law that repeals parliamentary immunity in the country since 2020.
