The Left Party's Jonas Sjöstedt criticizes the privatization of the Employment Service. If the government does not back down within two weeks, the party threatens to join forces with the Moderates and arouse distrust of Labor Minister Eva Nordmark (S).

The Left Party's criticism of the government and Eva Nordmark include, among other things, the privatization of the Employment Service, which means that independent actors will partly take over the task of matching job seekers to vacant jobs.

Sjöstedt calls the liberalization a "chaos privatization".

The same day Eva Nordmark says that this would create more chaos and disorder.

- They have been behind the January agreement so this is not news for the Left Party.

December 5, the deadline has expired

Jonas Sjöstedt (V) now announces that the Left Party will fulfill its threat to submit a declaration of confidence against Labor Minister Eva Nordmark (S).

- The government is responsible for the chaos in the Employment Service. It does not provide the Left Party with any alternative but to pursue submitting a declaration of confidence to the responsible Minister of State. We will now contact the Moderates to act jointly, says Sjöstedt.

Following Sjöstedt's decision, the Moderates and Christian Democrats agreed to bring a declaration of confidence against Nordmark before Tuesday, December 10, if their demands are not met by the government.

The Swedish Democrats are also prepared to defeat Nordmark.

Ulf Kristersson and Ebba Busch Thor want a "solid control function" before the reform of the Employment Service and that the reform should not be based on the Law of Freedom of Choice. It is also critical to how quickly the transition should be implemented.

- If the government parties choose to meet these demands, they will crack the unholy resistance alliance in Parliament. Without M and KD, there is no majority for a distrust, writes SVT's Mats Knutson in an analysis.

To awaken a declaration of confidence in the Riksdag, 35 seats are required, the Left Party has 28.
