NEW YORK (Reuters) - Former Miss Pakistan Zainab Navid was killed at the age of 32 in a road accident in Maryland after losing control of her Mercedes, US media reported on Friday.

She added that the beauty queen was trying to pass through the curve of the road, hit the pavement, and her car overturned near the pedestrian line, to be taken out of her car dead body, where she died instantly.

Police said they were alone in the car, and no one was escorted. Preliminary investigations and tests confirmed that Zainab's body was free of alcohol.

Police said in a statement that the former beauty queen was taken out of her car and declared dead immediately after it was confirmed she was dead.

Zaneeb was born in Lahore, Pakistan, but lived in Pomona, New York, graduated from Pace University in 2011 and then entered the Miss Pakistan International Pageant in Toronto, Canada.In 2012, she became the 10th girl to be named Miss Pakistan.
