4723 voted for Uppsala while Sundsvall came in second place with 3884 votes. In total, the vote was between five Swedish cities.
This year, Kalle Anka was depicted in Gothenburg and had the opportunity to visit the Book Fair, among other things. What adventures, and what places, will be in focus when Uppsala is in focus next year remains to be seen.
- There will probably be no hunting for Björnligan. I hope to see sightseeing in Uppsala, says Olle Dahllöf, local comic book artist who has, among other things, portrayed the comic city Uppsala in book form.
