05 December 2019The flames then suddenly the stake. The first official report of the fire that devoured a college in Odessa, an important city on the Black Sea in southern Ukraine, was lost one day. The Kyiv Post reports that a 16-year-old student lost her life in the flames.

Among the missing there are 5 college students and 2 researchers from the Marine Biology Institute of the Academy of Sciences, located in the same building that was set on fire in Troyitska Street.

Five of the hospitalized people are in "serious" conditions. There are also 7 firemen among the wounded.

The fire broke out around 10.12 am yesterday and was tamed after 4 hours.

The cause of the tragedy has not yet been identified, but the fire could have been caused by the malfunctioning of the electrical system which, according to Korrespondent.net, was not renewed since 1966.
