At the outset of the opening speech of the first regular session of the 10th legislative session of the Sharjah Consultative Council, His Highness said that the number that failed to vote for the members of the Advisory Council of Sharjah was large, calling on those who did not have the opportunity to vote and vote, for any reason. They were not to be immune from the work of the Council, so that they could observe what they were doing and realize how important they had failed. His Highness called on the current members of the Council to search and investigate all that would serve the community and its members, explaining to them that the society of the Emirate of Sharjah is active and young, and is looking forward to more effort and more upgrading in the services provided to it in various fields. His Highness reviewed some of the emirate's efforts in serving the elderly, children, youth, university students, job seekers and housing providers, stressing that all these efforts and services are the result of recommendations and decisions emanating from this council, which is the mirror of the reality of society.

Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah Ali Mihd Al Suwaidi chaired the first session of the Council for the first regular session of the legislative term.The session included the election of the Council's observers by acclamation, namely Mohammed Ali Jaber Saleh Al Hammadi and Mohammed Saleh Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali.
