The three defendants are all men, a 22-year-old and a 29-year-old resident in Huskvarna and a 20-year-old who has Skövde as their home address. They have been charged with attempted murder and causing danger to others as well as serious weapons crime when they are suspected of driving past the restaurant and from a car shot at two entrance hosts at the restaurant.

When the seven-day trial began last week, one of the defendants admitted that he had picked up a gun and fired shots without the other two knowing about it. But he said he was convinced that the premises were empty and that he was guilty of damages.

Professions on imprisonment

In addition to surveillance footage from the site, prosecutors have provided extensive evidence, not least in the form of recorded telephone calls, when one of the defendants had a recording function in their phone and the calls from the night were saved.

The prosecutor claims that the accused should be sentenced to eight years in prison, while the suspected lawyer believes that the charge is dismissed and that they are released from the charges of attempted murder.

The district court will decide on Friday whether the suspects will remain in the detention until they fall on December 16.
