Lavrov called on the OSCE to pay special attention to the situation in the Balkans

“The difficult situation in the Balkans requires increased attention. The OSCE field presence should not be used to solve the tasks of Euro-Atlantic integration of the countries of the region, ”TASS quoted him as saying.

Lavrov urged not to forget about the principles of mutual respect and balance of interests in the OSCE.

“It is important to remember that the activities of the OSCE executive structure, including its institutions, should be oriented towards the benefit of all participating states,” the Russian minister emphasized.

Earlier, Serbian leader Alexander Vučić demanded that the EU stop manipulating the desire of the Balkan countries to join the alliance.
